Food on the First! On the first Sunday of the month, place food items (listed in the Beacon under food pantry) in the food basket up front in the sanctuary where it will be dedicated before the Lord. All of the food will go to the Bread of Life Food Pantry (located at Epworth United Methodist in Palmyra) and will provide for families in the Tri-Boro.
We are a part of the Tri-Boro ministry: The Bread of Life Food Pantry. Our assignment is to collect: peanut butter, jelly, cookies, kool-aid, rice krispie treats, goldfish, cheez-its, and popcorn.
Remember to purchase your Shop-Rite gift cards. 5% of all sales will go directly to Social Action in order to support our two internationally sponsored girls and others with needs in our local community.
Non-perishable food items are needed for members of our local community. Easy open containers and microwavable items are needed.
